Special Education Program (SEP)
Provides support to students with disabilities from Prep to Year 6, their parents/carers and teachers through:
Co-operative planning (Individual Educational Plans (IEPs).
Access to parent/teacher resources.
Alternative Life Skills and Social Skills Programs.
Inclusion of children in the mainstream class according to level of need.
Small group withdrawal in the SEP facilities.
Access to Education Queensland Therapy Services.
Children are eligible for support in the Special Education Program if they have been diagnosed / verified with an Intellectual Impairment (II), Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Speech Language Impairment (SLI), Physically Impairment (PI), Vision Impairment (VI) and/or Hearing Impairment (HI).
