Students with a disability

Special Education Program (SEP)

Provides support to students with disabilities from Prep to Year 6, their parents/carers and teachers through: 

  • Co-operative planning (Individual Educational Plans (IEPs). 
  • Access to parent/teacher resources. 
  • Alternative Life Skills and Social Skills Programs. 
  • Inclusion of children in the mainstream class according to level of need. 
  • Small group withdrawal in the SEP facilities. 
  • Access to Education Queensland Therapy Services. 

Children are eligible for support in the Special Education Program if they have been diagnosed / verified with an Intellectual Impairment (II), Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Speech Language Impairment (SLI), Physically Impairment (PI), Vision Impairment (VI) and/or Hearing Impairment (HI).
